Easter, postponed

Hey there :)

  • So I didn't post yesterday about Easter because I don't have any pictures to share!

Translation: I need to get pictures from other people because I was too lazy to take them myself.

However, they should be up within the week, if all goes as planned.

Oh wait, I do have a couple of pictures from Easter. The first one's not the best quality, as it was taken with a webcam, but it will have to do for now.

(bunny ears!)

This photo of the sunrise service was taken off of a friend's Facebook page. Isn't it gorgeous?

By the way, I got a chocolate bunny. :)

  • Yesterday I went out with Jenny.

We went for sushi at Moonfish, and then to Pinkberry.

(Jen's sushi)

(My sushi -- veggie and california)

We also had edamame and tuna tacos. Yum!

Pinkberry! (obviously, I liked it.)

Strangely enough, I don't normally eat sushi. I simply don't have a intense desire to eat it. It seems as though yesterday was an exception, because I especially enjoyed my california roll.

It was so nice to catch up with Jenny. We only have a couple of classes together this year, so we don't see each other as much as we used to.

All in all, it was a lovely evening.

  • I've been feeling a bit frazzled as of late.

It seems like spring break has been passing by so quickly! My planner is filling up, and there simply isn't enough time in the world.
Maybe by next week I'll find the balance between boredom and busyness.
Until then, I shall paint my nails and take it one day at a time.
(wish me luck)

I hope you week is going swimmingly!

xoxo,
Danielle

P.S., I start work tomorrow. I have butterflies.

Happy Spring Break!

Hey, there :)

  • I went on a picnic yesterday!! :D
It was awesome! Tristan had the brilliant idea of having a picnic/soccer day. We didn't play soccer as much as we laid around and ate, but it was still fun.

  • Picnic photos:

(Jordan and Lance. How cute are they??)

It was so sunny, I used an umbrella. Apparently, they're multi-purpose.

This would be Lance and Tristan's version of modeling.

Did I mention how hot it was?

My picnic basket, deconstructed.

  • And now for the soccer photos: (I think Tristan probably played the most.)

This was too hilarious to not share. :)

  • After the picnic, we stopped at Cold Stone to cool off.

How adorable is Jordan? She's so lovable.

  • The Hunger Games

After I got home, my family went to see the $115 million dollar movie!

It was very good. I'll admit, it wasn't as good as the book. However, it was worth seeing!

  • This was such a good start to my break!
Thank you, to those involved. :)

Danielle

P.S., Hannah had her birthday party Saturday! That little girl turned five. Five! Pictures when I get them. :)

It's President's Day!

Happy President's Day!

Our school assigned a "self-study" day yesterday, so my family and our cousin, Avery, went to Haagen-Dazs at the West Oak's Mall for ice cream. For chocolate lovers, I strongly suggest the Belgian Chocolate Chocolate ice cream in a waffle cone. SO good!

I might have to pick some up from the store the next time I'm feeling blue. :)

Later, we played croquet. Although it was extremely cold and windy, it was still pretty fun.

Happy President's Day!

xoxo,
Danielle

P.S., be sure to check out the Rays of Sunshine tab. ;)
