'tis Thursday, my friends.

Bonjour!

Just an update today.

1) It has been raining every day for the past three days. This is what it produced:

I honestly cannot wait for Autumn/Winter. Summer's great, but right now I'm kind of at that in-between stage that involves no homework, but also no beach or swimming of any kind. I'm just not there yet.

Rainy days actually help. :)

2) I have been listening to Ingrid Michaelson nonstop. My favorite song is The Way I Am. Don't ask me why, but I listen to it over 10 times a day. 

3) I'm pretty sure I had an allergic reaction to an ant bite. (random, but update-esque.)

4) Pinterest distracts me from just about everything, including food. (even the food pinned on Pinterest). The basic line of thought is this:

Oh, food!

Wait, Pinterest...

Hey look, a recipe!

Now I'm hungry again.

Ooo, cute shoes.

I wonder what that smells like.

Gosh, I wish I were born 50 years ago.

CAT!

Paris.

Aww, they're so cute together!

Food...

5) I bought twine today. Well technically, it's called hemp cord. It's weird, I know.

As you can see, nothing exciting has really happened this week.

Although no news is good news, if you know what I mean.

Oh! However, I would ask that you please pray for the Campbell family, as they recently lost their 87 day old son. It's very sad and they need all of the prayer that can be given.

I have just enough time between work and homework and other little things to take part in the most exciting part of my week:

1) This is such a cool painting. I wish I could paint like that. I'll get started on it as soon as I move to my imaginary island, where there are ideal subjects. 

2) How cute is this picture?? I've had it on my computer for a while, but just now thought of adding it to the Faves. It's just super adorable.

3) This is perfect. It makes me wish that I lived somewhere other than Florida, where mountains were aloud to be bigger than what Northerners consider hills. If I could, I would definitely live on a ranch somewhere. I can't quite place why, but that's what this picture reminds me of.

4) I've talked about this song before (and how my mom used to sing it to me), but pictures of it just keep popping up! Maybe posting it eight thousand times will help me to remember it when I'm in my 90's and have amnesia. (as hard as you try, you can't stop old age.)

Well, I suppose I'd better get back to my homework.

By the way, I'm progressing very well at PS. :) I really love it there. I can't think of a better boss for my first job.

Wow, I think it's abnormal to crave as much pasta as I do every day. 

It's all I want to eat.

(I don't though, and my body thanks me.)

Also, please, please pray for my friend Kaitlyn. She recently had her appendix removed and is recovering well, but still needs prayer!

High fives, houseboats, and homework

Hey there.

Lately I've been super busy (what else is new). It's almost that good busy though, when you're relatively happy with the events on your planner, even if they are so very close together. 

For example: 

My planner seems close to crazy, but I like working and parties and... well, not so much homework. So like I said... almost.

Anyway, today was fairly average. I went to school and ate watermelon. We had a chapel schedule because my English teacher's son, Ryan, was home from the army. We got the opportunity to listen to him tell us about serving in Afghanistan. 

It was pretty cool. Please pray for him, as he goes back in a week.

IT'S NATIONAL HIGH FIVE DAY!

Just thought you should know.

By the way, I'm currently obsessed with houseboats. I could definitely float away right now.

So I've noticed that on the days I have work, I seem to be way more efficient afterwards. I guess I sort of get into the groove of productivity. 

Speaking of productivity, I have to do my laundry. (That's right: I do my own laundry. Because I'm responsible. Because I have a job and not a butler.) ;)

Home sweet home

Just got home from my grandparents' house! :)

(Mom and Dad went to a concert)

There was good food, American Idol, and lots of sunshine. 

I even found time to paint my toenails. (finally)

All in all, it was a pretty good couple of days, and I always love seeing my grandparents.
